    Manuscripts should be submitted in English. They should be typewritten and double-spaced, with wide margins, using one side of the page only.     Centrepoint is an interdisciplinary journal of intellectual, scientific and cultural interest with particular reference to Africa.

                Contributions written in English should as submitted in three copies typed double space with the following margins; Top: 1.25”; Bottom: 2.3”, Left: 1.85”; Right: 1.4” Articles should not exceed twenty double space pages on A4 paper.

    Notes and references should be carefully listed at the end of each article. References should be arranged alphabetically.   

    References within the text should be cited in Harvard style, by author and year. Two papers published in the same year should be given identifying lower case letters, both in the text and in the reference list.

    Authors should submit a printed copy and computer disk following these guidelines:

    • Use rewritable compact disc (CD)

    • Specify computer used (either IBM compatible PC not apple Macintosh)

    • State software used, WordPerfect, Microsoft word etc.

    • Use New Times Roman font size twelve (12).

    • State the file name

    • Keep a back-up CD for reference and safety.

    The Nigerian Journal of Guidance and Counselling (TNJGC) (ISSN 0794-0831) is published annually by the Department of Counsellor Education, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. The journal publishes well researched and well articulated papers/articles on all issues relating to counselling and applied psychology which use a variety of appropriate approaches in the conduct of research and inquiry in theoretical, empirical and experimental studies.     Guide lines for paper submission All submissions should be original papers that have not been accepted for publication or undergoing review process from other journal outlets.

    Organization of Manuscript Manuscripts should be arranged in the following sequence: Title Page - This should contain the following information: A concise title of the paper, Name (s) of Author (s), Institutional Address, e-mail and GSM Nos of all the authors. Please indicate the corresponding author in case of multiple authors. All these should be in the first page of the manuscript. The next page should begin with the title of the paper followed by an Abstract (The abstract should be written in English and must not exceed 200 words and a maximum of 7 key words). The latest edition of American Psychological Association (APA) 6th reference format should be followed.

    Submission of Manuscripts All papers should be clear and concise (MicroSoft Word), double space on A4-size paper (210mm x 297mm) on one side of the paper only; allowing 1 inch margin on all sides. The font size should be 12 point and the font style is Times New Roman. No paper should exceed 15 pages (5,000 words) including references, tables and illustrations.     Savannah Veterinary Journal (SVJ) is published by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM), University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. The FVM is located at the Savannah vegetation of Nigeria. Hence, the journal’s name was derived.


    The Savannah Veterinary Journal (SVJ) is a peer reviewed journal that covers various fields of veterinary medicine, animal production and health, comparative medicine and related biomedical sciences.


    The Savannah Veterinary Journal is published at a frequency of two issues (March and September) per year.


    The objectives of the journal are to:

    • promote veterinary research;

    • facilitate knowledge transfer among academic community;

    • promote significant research contributions useful for industrial development in the field of veterinary medicine and related biomedical sciences; and

    • publish important findings useful for public health.

    Review process

    This journal adopts a double-blind peer review process. Submitted manuscripts are sent to at least three reviewers with significant expertise and scholarship in the area of concentration of the paper. Reviewers are allowed three weeks to submit reports and recommendations on the acceptance or otherwise of the article for publication in SVJ. These recommendations aid the decision of the Editorial Board on the manuscripts’ acceptance. All articles will be subjected to plagiarism check.
